Web 2.0 Expo New York 2009 Keynotes – A sampling

by Seth Goldstein on November 21, 2009

web2expoChris Brogan, Baratunde Thurston, Anil Dash, Kevin Rose — those are just two of the great thought leaders in the Social Media space who gave keynotes at the Web 2.0 Expo at the Javits Center in New York City this past week.

If you get a chance to go to the expo either in San Francisco or in New York next year I highly suggest it. Here’s a sampling of some of the great keynotes:

Chris Brogan talked about influencer online in Social Media and talked about many topics he’s talked about in his book Trust Agents.

Baratunde Thurston of the Onion News Network (among other places) gave a hilarious and thought provoking talk on the power of Hashtags:

Anil Dash talked about listening to the experts. He suggested in his talk that the government would be better if they enlisted the experts in the public. Dash also announced a new project called Expert Labs, which will help connect the government with these experts.

Digg founders Jay Adelson and Kevin Rose talked about the future of Digg and taking it to the next level.

It was a great event. Were you there? What did you think? Post your thoughts in the comments.
